The second generation of the Saucony Excursion TR perfectly blends off-road traction and stability with excellent cushioning. You'll enjoy every step no matter where your adventure takes you. An injection-molded midfoot cradle and webbing provide increased support and lock the foot to the midsole. CMEVA midsole with invisible Grid® System provides stable cushioning in the heel. HRC Impact zone softens landing and isolates impact. HRC Strobel Board increases cushioning and comfort. Midfoot support bridge provides torsional rigidity through the gait cycle. XT-600® and XT-900® carbon rubber outsole with aggressive triangular lug design maintains traction and cushioning on all terrain.

Great comfy shoe. Good support. The color shown was not the color received though. Also order a 1/2 size larger than you normally would wear.

Good bounce, good support. I walk a ton everyday and I've never had a problem. Built well too, they don't fall apart like some other shoes.

I used to buy only asics brand running shoes, but lately I've noticed that the cushioning has felt very thin, so I switched to this Saucony style and have been satisfied--the cushioning stays pretty good even after several months of running and working out.
